Work - Page 5

  • A Second lot of work experience

Well basically the school has to keep us busy for 4 weks after the end of the AS levels due to some Government ruling or sommat and because they have no idea what to do with us  they've chucked us off to work experience for a week. So I thought I'd make the best of a bad situation and get some decent experience working for the Wonderful miss Siobhain McDonagh MP of Mitcham and Morden and Godmother of yours truly.

Of course being the busy woman that she is, she will be working in the House of Commons all week whereas I will be working in the scummy little morden office and John please dont come round and make a scene I know what you are capable of, I just hope you have a work experience aswell and so wont have time. Anyway yes I am in a tiny office which consists of 2 rooms and a small toilet out the back. And as for getting good experience unless I want to spend a career reading stuff off a piece of paper then entering into a database its not going to be much use to me. But no this is not just a blog to complain about how dull my work experience is, oh no. In fact in spite of the dull work and poor spacial facilities i am quite happy, I am now sharing the tiny office with 3 19yr old girls. Yesterday there were only 2 which if im honest was better as i was the focus of their attention it being my first day and such and the hot american 1 was acting in quite a flirtatious manner but 2day her fellow yank came in hence drawing attention away from me, the bitch. The 3rd 19yr old is a family friend really and so not really the fun of the others but still i wont complain about the company I keep. Especially as yesterday I was walking in the middle of 2 blondes down morden highstreet and passed my mortal enemy walking with her mum, muaha, the embarrasment in her eyes was brilliant. But apart from the flirtyness from yesterday there will be no office romance as she will probably wont talk to me for the rest of the week because of her friend being there, again bitch.

Im now looking forward to another  3 days of dull work with nice ladies - so until the next time farewell

  • What's not to talk about?

1st of all, apologies to DJ that there can be no link because of the immense size of the cartoons meaning i cant fit them onto a free internet web page without reducing the quality so much so that you can't see what is going on.

Next onto my job hunting. On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, me and my good chum Matt Tate went out ajob-hunting. Me being an optimistic fool thought that this would be easy, Tate having older, summer job seeking brothers and sisters, took a more realistic aproach. Over the two days i think i was rejected more than in any other period in my life with the general response of no we're not looking to employ anyone at the moment (So fuck off, clearly imprinted in their minds). There were though a few places which gave slightly more positive responses - Sainsbury's of Wimbledon saying that they will almost certainly be looking to employing people over the summer and taking in a CV, WHSmith taking a CV and saying maybe, The Odeon, Wimbledon and Virgin in Sutton both asked for application forms to be filled in, Top Man also in sutton took in a CV, Debenhams gave us an email address and Uni Qlo said come back at the end of the month. So, not all doom and gloom.

Because of the lack of a Babyshambles CD being released yet, despite everyones obvious desire for this to happen, I have taken it upon myself to make my own using the various songs of theirs I have on this computer of mine and it was worth it, my life is now all the better but I still want an official one to come out. The track listings on my CD are as follows:
    1. Babyshambles
    2. Do You Know Me
    3. Gang of Gin
    4. Fuck Forever
    5. Killamangiro
    6. Stix and Stones
    7. Albion
    8. Arcady
    9. Lust of the Libertines
    10. My Darling Clementine
    11. The Man Who Came to Stay
    12. At the Flophouse
    13. In Love with a Feeling
    14. He Will Fall
    15. The Whole World is our Playground
    16. Wolfman

New Premiership football fixtures are out today Arsenal are at home to Newcastle on the first day, one of the most important days of my season that fixture as it signals the north/south divide in my family, me as part of the southern branch I support Arsenal and the northern branch all support Newcastle, so whatever the result banter will be passed.

Finally, it just has to be said that Maria Sharapova is amazing in every single way, not only is she very nice looking she is pretty damn good at tennis and is only 18. What a woman

  • All Done now its time to party

All 4 subjects have their exams completed, and i am not looking forward to opening that envelope come August but hey its over for now!

There is nothing left now but to go out and celebrate the end of these horrific few days. Drowning my sorrows but not to over do it like last time. I want to go and see Sin City but no one else does, big group of losers, ahh well still gonna be good.

Bought a Velvet Underground CD, im pretty sure it is my first aquisition that pre-dates the 1980s.

This post just isn't long enough what is there that i can possibly do to drag it out some more and keep you my viewers enticed for several further minutes. medium_ant3.gif
